Stanislaw Swiezewski, the first winner of the IGLO Award

Congrats to Stanislaw Swiezewski, who has become the first winner of the IGLO Award for students actively involved in science communication and promotional activities at the Faculty of Biology, University of Warsaw. Stanislaw’screative project – an igloo built in front of the Faculty building this winter –attracted tremendous attention and went viral online for a long time. The initiative perfectly captured the spirit of the award: originality, engagement, and a fresh approach to promoting the Faculty and its community. Huge congratulations to Stanislaw, and also to Takao Ishikawa, who supported him in bringing this idea to life.
