Scientific Picnic

Recently, Aga Bluszcz, Karol Piekarski, and Takao Ishikawa took part in the Science Picnic, organized in Warsaw to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the beginning of the construction of the Radium Institute. During the event, our team presented colorful bacterial cultures and talked with visitors about bacteria in the environment, their fascinating properties, and the challenges related to antibiotic resistance. It was a great opportunity to show that the microbial world is not only diverse and beautiful, but also highly important for understanding the environment and human health.
