Plasmid pCRT01 and its structure, new bacterial strains, their applications method for producing carotenoids

The subject of the invention is the plasmid pCRT01 with the sequence presented in SEQ ID NO: 1 or its functional derivative, novel bacterial strains Paracoccus aminophilus CRT1 and Paracoccus kondratievae CRT2, deposited in the Collection of Industrial Microorganism Cultures of the Institute of Agricultural and Food Biotechnology in Warsaw, as Paracoccus aminophilus KKP 2053p and Paracoccus kondratievae KKP 2054p, respectively, and their applications. The invention also relates to a method of using these strains for carotenoid production, as well as a method for producing bacterial strains capable of synthesizing carotenoid pigments. Additionally, it covers methods for producing various carotenoid pigments using the novel strains Paracoccus aminophilus KKP 2053p and Paracoccus kondratievae KKP 2054p.
